By leveraging our collective expertise, networks, and resources, we aim to create a powerful platform that drives meaningful dialogue and action to position philanthropy as a transformative force for national development.
GPC 2025 provides a platform where philanthropists, development partners, civil society, private sector, government, and community development facilitators can come together to reflect, reimagine, and collaborate on redefining and accelerating philanthropy’s contribution to national development.

1. Harnessing Indigenous Philanthropy as a Catalyst for Creating the Societies We Want Explore how local giving traditions, solidarity networks, diaspora contributions, and community-led initiatives can drive long-term development and resilience.
2. Empowering Equality Through Giving Interrogate how we deploy philanthropy to build movements and solidarity for equality and agency of women, girls, youth, and other disadvantaged groups.
3. Innovative Financing and Partnerships for the Future Examine models such as blended finance, private equity, social impact financing, social enterprises, and endowments. Masterclasses will provide capacity-building opportunities.
4. Policy and Regulatory Frameworks for Enabling Philanthropy Examine opportunities for legal and policy frameworks to scale up philanthropy, with emphasis on transparency, accountability, and incentives for giving.
5. Beyond CSR: Private Sector Approaches to Philanthropy Explore emerging corporate-led strategies beyond corporate social responsibility for large-scale, long-term development.
6. Research Corner Focus on disseminating and conversations on new evidence on philanthropic practices and potentials.
